 HAWORTH - New Intermediate / Senior Product Engineer Position

After nearly sixty years in business, we remain steered by the people and principles that made Haworth one of the top manufacturers in the business.  We are currently looking for a Senior Product Engineer who will demonstrate a willingness to take action on problems or opportunities without prompting.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for an assigned product line, including design, development, and introduction of new products and production support for existing products and/or product line enhancements that fall within strategic direction of company.  You will also investigate and analyze competitive products to determine product performance, costs, and packaging methods while providing technical direction to other staff members.

 

We value learning through education and experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

·         Three years demonstrated ability to creatively design, analyze and document product designs on multiple projects.

·         Ability for innovative technical accomplishments, as demonstrated through prior design drawings, patent awards, technical publications, and market success.

·         Demonstrated ability to develop team-oriented environment that fosters skills.

·         Good organizational and project management skills.

·         Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, problem solving and planning skills required.

·         Ability to work as an individual and/or as a member of the team.

·         Demonstrated working knowledge of CAD (design) systems and analysis procedures. Experience with Pro-Engineer or Solidworks required.

·         PC and keyboard/mouse skills required, including working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. 

·         Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices for extending periods of time, including internationally as needed.
