Sr. SAP Systems Design Analyst

After sixty years in business, we remain steered by the people and principles that made Haworth one of the top manufacturers in the business.  We are currently looking for a Sr. SAP Systems Design Analyst to work on our SAP global implementation team located in beautiful Holland, Michigan, just a 3 hour drive from Chicago.

 

In this exciting role, the ideal candidate would perform Systems Applications and Products (SAP) application design duties related to design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and implementation of Haworth’s mySAP Business Suite and other systems as assigned.  This candidate would enhance and maintain Haworth’s automated processes, streamline critical business processes, maintain data integrity and secure Haworth’s systems.  You would deliver principal technical development skills to support the SAP platform.  You will utilize SAP Advance Business Application Programming (ABAP) Dialog Programming, User Exit Programming, Database Computer (DBC) Programming and SAP Report Development skills to develop and maintain SAP system.

 

We value learning through education and experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, database administration, networking, systems analysis, or computer programming or equivalent degree.

·         Five years professional experience in development, enhancement, and maintenance of automated systems within SAP toolset.

·         Experience working in teams of developers, defining standards and processes, architecting solutions, coordinating and performing SAP upgrades, and conducting design and code reviews.

·         Proficient SAP’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Business Functional Module Advance Planning and Optimizing (APO) and the integration of Variant Configuration (VC) and APO.

·         Proficient in Enterprise Core Component (ECC) SAP Business Functional Modules of Sales and Distributing (SD) and Materials Management (MM).

·         Proficient in SAP ABAP programming. (i.e., Business Application Programming Interfaces [BAPIs], Business Add-Ins [BADIs], or Intermediate Documents [iDocs]).

·         Proficient in SAP Components (i.e., Legacy System Migration Workbench [LSMW], Application Link Enabling [ALE]/Electronic Data Interchange [EDI], SAP Script, Smart Forms, or Adobe Forms).

·         Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver, Business Intelligence (BI), and Master Data Management (MDM) strongly preferred.

·         Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, at times with very short notice, including internationally, up to 10 percent of time.

·         Ability to provide on-call and callback support for critical system support.

·         Currently authorized without restrictions to work for any employer in the United States.

SAP Systems Analyst

In this exciting new position, the ideal candidate would contribute to development, installation, maintenance, and modification of advanced scientific and/or engineering application programs, business application programs, or integrated programs for special projects which meet user/customer requirements for high-performance computing. 


We value learning through education and experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, related field, or equivalent.
• Two years experience with SAP BW/BI standard content and content enhancements (Extraction, Transformation, and Load [ETL], custom extractors, Operational Data Store [ODS], cubes, Multi-Providers, Analysis Process Designer [APD], Infosets, and process chains) and reporting (query development using BEX Analyzer, Web Application Designer [WAD], and Broadcaster).

• Knowledge of computer/computational science, data analysis, and programming technologies, data warehouse concepts and techniques.
• Ability to specify and develop computer programs using range of programming languages.

• Understanding of SAP ECC source data and proficient in two of the following:  Finance and Controlling (FI/CO), Controlling and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Sales and Distributing (SD), Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Variant Configurator as it relates to SAP BI and master data strongly preferred.

• Proficient in SAP ABAP programming. (i.e., Business Application Programming Interfaces [BAPIs], Business Add-Ins [BADIs], or Intermediate Documents [iDocs]) strongly preferred.

• Proficient in SAP Components (i.e., Legacy System Migration Workbench [LSMW], Application Link Enabling [ALE]/Electronic Data Interchange [EDI], SAP Script, Smart Forms, or Adobe Forms) strongly preferred.
